History of the Peugeot 604
Built between 1975-1985, the Peugeot 604 was an executive car designed on the base of the Peugeot 504, with 153,252 being made in total. Though a fine car and a critical success, the 604 was sadly a commercial failure due to the Peugeot 505 launching in competition in 1975, the car was released during the peak of the oil crisis. In the UK it is a rare sight, with only 29 on the road in 2009 and just 25 in 2011.
