History of the Borgward Isabella Coupe

Initially conceived as an image booster for Borgward, the Borgward Isabella Coupe (and later cabriolet version) was built between 1955 to 1961. Considered the pinnacle of Borgward's tragically cut short career, it featured a all-independent coil-sprung suspension and rear rear swing axles supplementing a notoriously durable engine.
