Humber Super Snipe Series 2
Humber Super Snipe 1938–1967
- We would suggest that the 670 H 15 Avon Turbospeed would be the best drivers Crossply.
- A 185 VR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CA67 would be a great radial alternative for a Humber Super Snipe.
- Humber cars of this era fitted tube-type wheels and innertubes. Innertubes are required in order for your wheels to function, even if they are tubeless.
- For these tyres the Michelin 15F innertube is the best fit.
- We can also offer a whitewall in the 6.70 x 15 General Whitewall tyres for a Humber Super Snipe.
- The Michelin 15/17H will be the best fitting innertube for these tyres.
History of the Humber Super Snipe
The Humber Super Snipe can be difficult to pin down based on generation mark alone, as the 1938-1958 group of Humber Super Snipes went from MK I-VI before restarting again in 1958-1967, this time differentiated by series numbers from those that went before. Post-1958 the car used the body and chassis of the Humber Hawk, though fitted a larger more powerful engine. Production was ceased in 1967 following Chrysler's takeover of Humber.
