History of the MG YA
MG's first saloon car post-war, the MG YA, was built from 1947-1951. It was designed to be a slightly smaller engined car than previous saloons from the company using a 1250cc engine from the latest MG TB. Despite this smaller engine, it was the most powerful British saloon car of its size. For an extended history of the MG Y series see the MG Y page.
