For Bristol 412 tyres the best tyre to fit is the 205 WR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN72 as the most ideal and correct tyre to fit. Fitting a full size 205 R15 tyre to a 412 will make sure the car has a tyre the right diameter.
However some people have taken to fitting tyres in the size 215/70VR15 like the 215/70 VR 15 Avon CR6ZZ which is actually too small in diameter.
The Avon CR6ZZ is an excellent tyre, but in reality it is a road race tyre and a Bristol 412 would benefit better from fitting a proper road tyre such as the 215/70 WR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN12 or the 215/70 WR 15 Michelin XWX.

History of the Bristol 412

Departing from the usual Bristol styling and instead opting for a more square-looking design by Zagato, the Bristol 412 was built from 1975 to 1980 as the last of the numbered 400 series of cars. It boasted a gigantic 6.6 litre V8 engine coupled with the solid chassis of the Bristol 411, though the engine would be downsized to a 5.9 litre in the late seventies.
