• The Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire was produced from 1952 to 1960, boasting the distinctive traditional Armstrong Siddeley V-shaped radiator grille with the mounted Sphinx motif.
• Originally the Sapphire fitted 640 - 15 crossply tyres, with the saloon models instead fitting 670 - 16 tyres.

• Tubeless tyres were not commonly used in this era, the original equipment wheels were standard tube-type or wire wheels. Either wheel type requires an innertube to function.
