- Ferrari 308 GTSi fitted 220/55VR390 Michelin TRX which, fortunately is still made by Michelin.
- It is possible for a early Ferrari 308 GTSi to have 205/70VR14 Michelin XWX fitted.
- The 205/70VR14 Michelin XWX is best suited to a Michelin 14F inner tube.
- It was also an option to fit 16” wheels with 205/55VR16 Pirelli P7 & 225/50VR16 P7.

Ferrari introduced the fuel injection system to its 308 GTS cars in 1980, which is shown by the little "i" in there name. By this time Michelin had made an enormous leap forward in tyre technology, developing their new TRX range of tyres. And the 308 GTSi were fitted with the millimetric tyres 220/55VR390 Michelin TRX.
It is also possible for a 1982 Ferrari 308 GTSi to have the earlier 205/70VR14 Michelin XWX.
It is worth mentioning that over the years things get changed and it is worth checking that you have 390mm wheels on your car before buying these tyres.
