History of the Peugeot 177
The Peugeot Type 177 was a mid-range automobile manufactured by Peugeot between 1924 and 1929. It operated in the same category as the Citroen B2 and Renault KZ, and had a wheelbase of 2670 mm. The automobile was developed from the Peugeot Type 173, where most of the mechanical parts were from, also sharing its overall proportions as well as its 1,525 cc in-line four-cylinder engine when it was introduced in 1924. The greatest power output claimed was 29 horsepower at 1,900 rpm.
