Ginetta G15 1968-1974

• The Ginetta G15 was originally fitted with 520 - 13 crossply tyres.
• Longstone’s only Ginetta G15 tyre in the original crossply size is the 5.20 x 13 Camac, a budget tyre with limited performance that we do not recommend.
• As radial tyres became more common in the early 1970s, 145 R13 was used as the main radial equivalent to the original 520 - 13 crossply size.
• Fitting 145 R13 preserves the original rolling radius, gearing, and handling balance intended by Ginetta.
• Longstone’s recommended Ginetta G15 radial tyre in this size is the 145R13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CA67, a premium classic radial tyre designed for sports cars.
• In this size, the 145HR13 Michelin XAS FF is also a great tyre worth considering.
• Some period Pirelli fitment guides list 155 R13 as the recommended radial tyre for the Ginetta G15. Longstone’s recommended tyre in this size is the 155R13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CA67.
• The 155 HR 13 Michelin XAS FF is also a good option in the 155 R13 size.
• Some Ginetta G15s were fitted with wider 5J x 13 and 5.5J x 13 wheels and 165/70 R13 tyres.
• This size is yet to enter the classic range; we suggest either 155 R13 tyres or contacting your local tyre shop for 165/70 R13 tyres.

Ginetta G15 Innertubes

• The Ginetta G15 models that originally fitted crossply tyres were fitted with tube-type wheels and therefore require innertubes.
• For 520 - 13 and 145 R13 tyres, the correct innertube is the Michelin 13CG.
• For 155 R13 tyres, the correct innertube is the Michelin 13D.
• We always recommend Michelin innertubes, as they are consistently the most reliable and best-made tubes available for classic tyres.
