Austin 1100 on 5.50-12 Tyres

• We are pleased to have a crossply 5.50-12 tyre with the 5.50 x 12 Camac. However, predominantly we would recommend a radial alternative.
• A 145 R12 is the radial equivalent to a 5.50-12 Crossply tyre.
• 5.50-12 tyres were fitted to cars like the Austin 1100-1300 and mk1 Ford Escort.
• We would suggest instead of a 5.50-12 crossply tyre, we would recommend the 145 SR 12 Michelin MX tyre instead.
• Some people like a taller 155 R12, for which we have a 155 R 12 Nankang, but you are better off with the 145R12 Michelin MX.
• Innertube for 550 - 12: Michelin 12D Offset Valve Tube.
• Rim tape (for Wire Wheel) for 550 - 12: Rim Tape for Wire Wheel 13" - 17".
