Maserati 4200 Tyres

For more information on the 4200, see the first part of our Maserati Quattroporte page.

  • Longstone's recommendation for the Maserati 4200 is the 205 WR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN72.
  • The Michelin 15/17H will be the best fitting innertube for the tyres.

  • For a long time there was not a high-speed-rated tyre in the 205 R15 size, so people fitted 215/70 R15s instead, however now that the 205 WR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN72 is available, we suggest this over any other tyre that is ultimately not the size that the car was developed to drive on.

History of the Maserati 4200

Maserati Coupé and Spyder (Tipo M138) are a series of grand tourers made by the Italian carmaker Maserati between 2001 and 2007. The names relate to the four-seater coupé and two-seater convertible variants, respectively. Both versions were inspired by the previous 3200 GT, utilising the Ferrari/Maserati F136 R V8 engine, which displaces 4,244 cc and is rated at 385 horsepower at 7,000 rpm with a peak torque of 332 lb-ft at 4,500 rpm.
