Though there is a 11/12 - 45 Waymaster tyre available, we would still encourage fitting the 12 – 45 Michelin Double Rivet
Salmson on 12 x 45 Michelin DR Tyres
11/12 – 45
- These 11/12 – 45 tyres are for Michelin 45cm Bibendum wheels.
- 11/12-45 tyres should not be fitted on an 18” rim, and an 18” tyres should not be fitted on to a 45cm Bibendum wheel.
- A 11/12 – 45 tyre is produced instead of making 2 separate tyres in the sizes 11 – 45 and 12 – 45.
- Currently nobody makes an 11 – 45, However Michelin make a 12 x 45 Michelin DR (Double Rivet) which is our recommended tyre.
- There is a 11/12 x 45 Waymaster Thirty which is effectually a 12 - 45 tyre, so you may as well fit the Michelin.
- It is a shame Michelin no longer make the 11 – 45 Double Rivet as you can see from this picture of a Salmson fitted with the 12 - 45, they look a little big. (but so would a 11/12-45 Waymaster)
