Berkeley B95 B105 Tyres
- The light and quick Berkeley B95/B105 originally fitted 520 - 12 crossply tyres. If you want a crossply tyre we have the 5.20 x 12 Camac, but we suggest switching to radial tyres.
- A close radial equivalent size is 125 R12, in this size we recommend the 125SR12 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN54 as the ideal Berkeley B95/ B105 tyre.
- The 125 R 12 Michelin X is also very good in this size.
- If you desired a whitewall tyre the 125SR12 CINTURATO CN54 Whitewall offers the whitewall aesthetic without compromising performance.
- The best fitting Berkeley B95 or B105 innertube for this tyre is the Michelin 12C.
History of the Berkeley B95/ B105
The Berkeley B95 and B105 models were introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 1959. The B95 featured a 40 bhp Super Meteor engine and the B105 boasted a 50 bhp Constellation unit capable of exceeding 100 mph. The engines were outfitted with Berkeley-designed primary chain cases to house a Lucas Bendix starter motor, an external Lucas dynamo mounted above the gearbox, and a double-row chain drive to the differential.
