History of the Delahaye 175
The Delahaye Type 175 is a luxury car produced by the French company Delahaye between 1948 and 1951. Independent coachbuilders like as Figoni et Falaschi, Henri Chapron, Saoutchik, and Carrosserie Pourtout offered the 175 in a variety of body shapes. A fire in the factory sometime around 1953 damaged the company's administrative facilities, and very little documentation remained, leaving little information about the Type 175 and its two brothers, the successively larger wheelbase Types 178 and 180. Club Delahaye, the global authority on the brand and permanent bearer of the registered Delahaye trademark, has reported 24 survivors out of a total of 107 specimens constructed.
