1971 Iso Fidia S4
Iso Fidia Tyres
- The ISO Fidia from 1967 – 1975 fitted 205 WR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN72.
- Today the CN72 Pirelli is still the best tyre for ISO’s big 4-door saloon.
- ISO Fidia Tyre pressure – we suggest 31psi front and 34psi in the rear.
- Many cars may also be fitted with 215/70VR15 tyres, but in actuality, they are too small in diameter.
- The Michelin 15/17H will be the best fitting innertube for tyres of this size.
- Our period Innertube Guides suggest that the Fidia ran tube-type tyres at the start of production, but fitted tubeless wheels by the end of production.
History of the Iso Fidia
The Iso Fidia (or Iso Rivolta Fidia), originally the Iso Rivolta S4, is a four-door sedan created by the Italian automaker Iso from 1967 to 1975. The Fidia, which debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 1967, was Iso's sole four-door vehicle. Production began sometime after the car's original unveiling, and the European press premiere, which took place in Athens, took place more than a year later, in February 1969. At the time of the press debut, 15 vehicles had already been produced, but it wasn't until February 1969 that the automobile dropped the "S4" moniker in favour of the more evocative "Fidia."
