Daimler Regency 1951–1958
- The Daimler Regency should optimally fit either a 670 H 16 Dunlop RS5, which is sadly no longer in production, or a set of 670 R 16 Avon Turbosteel.
- The ideal tube for these tyres is the Michelin 16F innertube.
History of the Daimler Regency
Built from 1951 to 1956, the Daimler Regency was the product of taking a Daimler DB18 Consort's chassis and putting in a new 3 litre engine with a larger body on top. There was a brief period from 1951 to 1952 where only 50 were built, until the Daimler Regency MK2 was introduced in 1954 with an even larger 3.5 litre engine pumping out an impressive 140bhp in the Daimler Regency Sportsman version.
