Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 185/70 VR 14 PIRELLI CN36 Tyres
Alfetta GT and GTV 1972–1987
- The first Alfetta GT of 1974 initially came fitted with 165R14 tyres. We suggest the 165 HR 14 PIRELLI CINTURATO, with a set of Michelin 14D innertubes.
- Between 1979 and 1983 Alfa transitioned from tube-type wheels to tubeless on various Alfetta models. To find out the original Alfetta GTV innertube requirements see our Innertube Guides.
- 185/70VR14 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36 became OE on the Alfetta GT 1.8.
- Alfa Romeo introduced the Alfetta GT 1.6, Alfetta GTV 2.0, GTV Strada and GTV SE fitting 185/70VR14 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36.
- 185/70VR14 tyres fit Michelin 14E innertubes.
- Suggested Alfetta GT and GTV tyre pressures on 14” wheels would be 25psi front and 26psi rear.
- Later Alfetta GTV models offered 15” wheels with 195/60R15 tyres.
- Any tyre with a profile below 70% (e.g 195/60 SR 15 Michelin Pilot Primacy 3) does not need innertubes.
- Michelin make the excellent 195/60 SR 15 Pilot Primacy 3 which we suggest the tyre pressures 26psi front and rear.
