- Our recommended 440 - 21 tyre is the 4.40/4.50 x 21 Lucas. The quality is good, the price is great, and the tread pattern is period.
- The offset valve innertube for 440 – 21 tyres fitted to European cars: Michelin 20/21CD Offset Valve tube.
- The central valve innertube for the Ford Model A fitted with 440 - 21 tyres: Long Central Valve Tube 450x20/21.
- The Rim tape (for Wire Wheel) for 440 - 21: Rim Tape for Wire Wheel 18" - 21", these are not necessary for a Model A Ford.
- 440 - 21 can also be described as: 440 x 21, 21X440 or 21”X4.40”.
- 21 X 4.40 was the original equipment tyre for a 1920s Model A Ford.

A: In the Late 1920s Aston Martin fitted 21”-4.40” tyres. We would suggest that the 4.40/4.50 x 21 Lucas is the best tyre for these early Aston Martin.
A: Personally I fit the 4.40/4.50 x 21 Lucas on my 1928 Ford Model AR.
