AC 2-Litre DHC Buckland 1949–1956
- Longstone recommends fitting the 5.25/5.50 x 17 Lucas classic tyres for AC 2 Litre DHC-Bucklands made before 1950, and the 670 R 16 Avon Turbosteel tyres for models made after 1950.
- The ideal early AC 2L Buckland innertube is the Michelin 17/18E RET, and on the later Buckland with 16" wheels the best innertube is the Michelin 16F innertube.
- We suggest the AC 2 Litre DHC-Buckland tyre pressure to be 22psi for the front and 27psi for the rear.

AC 2-Litre Buckland Tourer
The straightforward drophead version of the saloon was only produced for a year and purely for export, although many would still retain right-hand drive. The UK instead got the Buckland tourer (built by the Buckland coachbuilder).
While the AC 2-Litre was produced in the biggest numbers of any AC the Bucklands variant was built in limited numbers of just 60 units and even fewer being made as the straight door MKI. The Bucklands were raced both in the UK at Silverstone and elsewhere but also in the US as the Buckland was marketed as a sports car with luxury in mind.
