Ferrari 275 GTS Tyres
Longstone's recommended Ferrari 275 GTS tyre is the 205 VR14 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN72
Ferrari 275 GTS Tyres 1964–1966
- Ferrari’s factory specification for the Ferrari 275 GTS lists 195 R14 or 205 R14 tyres on both axles, on 6.5" × 14 wheels. Period tyre manufacturers known to have supplied the Ferrari 275 GTS include Dunlop and Pirelli.
- Early Ferrari 275 GTS cars (1964–early 1965) are commonly found fitted with 195 R14 radial tyres, with 205 R14 becoming increasingly common later in production.
- 195 VR14 tyres are not made anymore. We suggest fitting 205 R14 tyres, as it became standard for the later models.
- Longstone recommends the 205 VR14 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN72 as the best Ferrari 275 GTS tyre; this tyre was the original 205 R14 275 GTS fitment and remains the best choice today.
- The 205 VR 14 Michelin XWX is also a great tyre in this size, possessing a supercar pedigree and excellent handling dynamics.

Ferrari 275 GTS Wheels
- The Ferrari 275 GTS fitted the RW 3874 Borrani Wheel 6.5"x14", measuring 6.5" × 14". This is the standard Ferrari 275 GTS wheel, also fitted by the Ferrari 275 GTB.
- Borrani also make a RW4039 Borrani Wheel 7.0"x14", because in the 1970s some people wanted to fit low-profile tyres on a 275 GTS.
- There is also a 6.5 x 14 Campagnola wire wheel option.
Ferrari 275 GTS Innertubes
- Wire wheels require innertubes for proper use. Many period high-speed radial tyres were tubeless in design, but were fitted with innertubes when used on wire wheels.
- The best innertube for 205 R14 tyres is the Michelin 14F Offset Valve Inner Tube. We always recommend Michelin innertubes when possible; in our experience they are the best in the industry.
