The tyre size 175/70HR15 is a very unusual size. Cars didn't generally leave the factory fitted with 175/70HR15 tyres as standard. However there were cars like a TR2 and an Alfa Romeo Giulietta that fitted 155HR15 tires, and a 175/70HR15 is a wider tyre of a similar diameter, so these classic cars may choose to use a 175/70HR15 tyre.
