When Porsche developed their 911 RSR and Carrera models in 1972 they continued to fit the 185/70 R15 CN36 on the front, and upped the rear wheel size on the back to fit the ultra low 215/60VR15 CN36.
Today Pirelli are producing the 185/70 R15 CN36 again at Porsches request and these tyres have been tested by Porsche and attained the presidgious N homologation as a recommended by Porsche tyre. The build quality is exceptional. We weighed the Pirelli Cinturato 185/70 R15 CN36 and it came in 20% lighter than another top brand racing car 185/70 R15 tyre. That was 2kg less in weight. Which we think is a big deal.
