This page lists tyres that at one point Longstone Tyres stocked and sold that have now become obsolete. Obsolete Vintage car tyres

• The Dunlop F4 tyres are an early 1930s tread pattern that has been replaced by the Ensign F4.
• The Dunlop B5 is a late ‘30s, just pre war tyre now replaced by the Ensign B5
• The D2/103 Dunlop is a good robust tyre now made under the Ensign D2/103 brand name.
• The Dunlop Chevron Cord beaded edge tyre not listed on this page is now made as the Ensign Chevron Cord. These are, by far the best beaded edge tyres.
• Dunlop Racin CR65, Dunlop Racing CR48, Dunlop Racing R5, Dunlop Racing R1, and Dunlop Racing 5-Stud are all now replaced by the Goodyear Blue Streak range.
• Englebert Tyres was a range produced early this century by Michelin. The best replacements are the Pirelli Stella Bianca.

Obsolete Classic car tyres

• The Pirelli P6000 small range of tyres for Porsche are obsolete as of 2026 they no longer comply with tyre legislation. These sizes are better serviced by the Pirelli Cinturato CN36.
• Pirelli P4000 tyres ceased production in 2011. The Pirelli Cinturato P5 is a perfect improvement on these tyres.
