The Jaguar XJS, XJ-S, XJS V12 and XJS HE fitted the Pirelli 235/60R15 P600 tyre from 1987. Prior to fitting 235/60R15 tyres it fitted either 205/70VR15 Pirelli P5 on the 6 cylinder cars and 215/70VR15 Pirelli P5 tyres on the 12 cylinder XJ-S. With the 235/60R15 P600 Jaguar maintained their loyalty to Pirelli.
235/60R15 Tyres
The tyres size, 235/60R15, other than its association with the Jaguar XJS fits virtually nothing else except just the rear axle of a Delorean.
There is also a BFGoodrich 235/60R15 Radial T/A classic muscle car tyre. These Radial T/A tyres have raised white letters on the side. Not suitable for a Jaguar XJS. Worth noting that the Pirelli P600 is actually a W rated tyre.
