In 1971 when Aston fitted their V8 Engine into the DBS they also fitted wider 7" rims and started to fit 225/70VR15 Avon ACR3 tyres which they also fitted to the V8 and V8 Vantage
225/70 VR 15 Tyres
Though the Avon 225/70VR15 was the original equipment tyre on the Aston Martin V8; Michelin also make a 225/70VR15 XWX which was the original tyre for the back of the 512BB Ferrari and would be excellent on the V8 Aston.
