A 165VR15 tyre is a perfect radial tyre for performance classic Sports cars of the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s. 165-15 makes an ideal radial alternative for crossply tyres in the sizes 5.60-15 and 5.90-15.

The Porsche 356 fitted crossply tyres 5.60-15, so these 165-15 Michelin XAS N0 tyres would be perfect as a radial alternative, because when Porsche developed the first 911. The Michelin XAS came out in 1965 and Early911 fitted 165-15 Michelin XAS as their original equipment. As did Porsches 912, and the 914. Matched with the N0 homologation it makes these 165-15 XAS N0 the perfect classic Porsche tyre.
In 1968 Porsche moved the 911 on to fit 185/70VR15 new low profile tyres. Again Michelin make this early911 tyre 185/70VR15 XWX
