The Michelin 16e inner tube fits a wide variety of tyre sizes. 500 – 16, 525 – 16 & 550-16 crossply tyres. 165 – 16, 145 – 400, 155 – 400 & 165 – 400 radial tyres. When looking at the inner tube you may notice that some of these sizes are not listed on there. That is because Michelin don’t make a tyre of that size, so don’t list it on there.4.50 – 17 Inner tube
Through experience we have found that the Michelin 16 E 13 inner tube is the best inner tube to fit to the tyre size 450 X 17. We realise that on the box Michelin do not specify 4.50 – 17 as a tyre size that this inner tube is recommended for, that is because Michelin do not make a tyre this size. However over the years we have fitted this inner tube in thousands of 450-17 tyres and it has always worked perfectly. My Michelin tubes, (9 yrs old 600 miles) the valves on two of them started to tear away from the tubes where they meet each other-two punctures at the same time. The vehicle was in the garage when tyres deflated Fitted 5 new tubes Hope to get up to 9 years again. Is this usual life of tube ?\n
