This 185VR16 tyre was the beginning of radial tyres being manufactured to fit imperial inch-sized wheels, which were the norm on most cars. This tyre, 185VR16 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67, was original equipment on Maserati's from the 50s up until 1964. Also, some 250 Ferrari cars fitted the 185VR16 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67.
Many British cars, such as XK120, XK140, XK150, Bristol 401, 403, 406, 407, 408, 409, Triumph Gloria & Renown, Riley RM, and Pathfinder, would have originally fitted a vintage crossply tyre of the size 600x16. 185VR16 Innertubes
