6.00 X 16 White Wall Tyres

6.00 X 16 was a very popular tyre size on many cars through out the 1950. The 6.00 X 16 General white wall is a great value white wall tyre in the size 6.00 X 16 but with sports cars like the Jaguar XK140 or the Aston Martin DB Mk3 we would suggest that a tyre with a carcass more suited to these sports cars would handle much better. We also suggest that fitting white wall tyres to European Sports cars does not look right. They would be much better fitted with a 6.00 X 16 Pirelli Stella Bianca as a crossply or fitting the 185 VR 16 Pirelli Cinturato as a radial alternative.

6.00 X 16 Innertubes

We would suggest the best innertube to fit to a 6.00 X 16 General White Wall or any tyre of the size 6.00 X 16 for that matter is the Michelin 16 F RET Innertube. We are big fans of the Reinforced Michelin innertubes as crossply tyres can wear innertubes and the quality and reinforcing of the Michelin innertubes is well worth the money.

We would suggest that any wire wheel should be fitted with an innertube.
