235/75 SR15 radial tyres can be fitted to Rolls Royce Silver Cloud and of course the Bentley S Series cars which fitted 820X15 tyres. The 820H15 Avon TurboSpeed was fitted to the Silver Cloud and the 820H15 Dunlop Fort WH4 was fitted to the S Series Bentleys, they can now fit a 235/75 R15. On today's modern dual carriage ways and motorways car are able to maintain cruising speeds for considerably longer periods of time than would have been possible when these cars were made in the 50's and 60's. As a result people have been very keen to find a radial tyre to suit these cars. Longstone Classic Tyres find that the 235/75TR15 Galaxy tyre is possibly the closest we can get at present to fit these cars. We have sold lots of 235/75TR15 tyres to Rolls Royce Silver Cloud and Bentley S Series cars and have very good reports from customers about the benefits of fitting a radial 235/75 R15 tyres.
235/75R15 tyres
820X15 is a crossply tyre. Longstone Classic Tyre find that the 235/75R15 Galaxy tyre makes a very good radial alternative. Rolls Royce Silver Cloud and Bentley S series cars use this 235/75R15 tyre as an excellent radial option with a 40mm white band on one side that can be fitted inwards if you want a black wall tyre.
235/75R15 tyres
235/75R15 is not a popular European tyre size. However cars that might have fitted 820H15 tyres will find that this is an excellent radial option offering improved directional stability.
The Overall Diameter of the 235/75 R 15 Galaxy Whitewall is 734 mm, the width is 236 mm and size of the Whitewall is 40 mm.

Maintaining White Wall or White Letter Tyres
Whitewall or raised white letters tyres will need continual maintenance; they are not a fit and forget item. You will need to keep the tyres clean, usually just with hot soapy water.
NEVER USE tyre shine products on Whitewall or RWL letters, many of these products have enhancers for black tyres that will discolour the white rubber permanently.
