205/55 VR16 Tyres

Though the tyre size 205/55 VR16 is a relatively common tyre size, this particular 205/55 VR16 is quite a special car, in that it was the first tyre in Pirelli’s P-Zero high specification low profile performance asymmetric tyre range. This tyre was originally developed in conjunction with Lancia for the Delta S4 Stradale, a pretty exceptional and very rare car, and in 2025 Pirelli put these tyres back in production.

In celebration of 50 years of the P-Zero tyre range Pirelli re produced the 205/55 VR16 P-Zero Corsa for the Lancia Delta S4 Stradale. You might not that this current production is actually speed rated W instead of the V speed rating it achieved in the day. this is because back in the mod 1970s a W speed rating had not been developed, so in period it was called 205/55 VR 16 which is what is written on the side wall today.
