• The alternative low-profile size is 175/70 R13. In this size the best classic tyre is the 175/70 VR 13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36.
• The 131 Estate 1300 and 1600 models fitted 165 R13 tyres. Longstone’s recommended tyre is the 165R13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36.
• The low-profile alternative size for 165 R13 is 185/70 R13. In this size Longstone recommends the 185/70 VR 13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36.

1980 Fiat 131 Supermirafiori

Fiat 131 Series 2 Tyres (1978–1981)

• The 131 Mirafiori 1.3 and 1.6 L / CL models fitted 165 R13 tyres. Longstone’s recommended tyre is the 165R13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36.
• The alternative low-profile size for these cars is 175/70 R13. In this size the best classic tyre is the 175/70 VR 13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36.
• The 131 Supermirafiori (1.3, 1.6, 2.0) was listed with 165 R13 or 175/70 R13 tyres, and in some markets 185/60 R14 tyres. Longstone’s recommended tyre is the 165R13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36, 175/70 VR 13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36, or 185/60 VR 14 Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2.

• The 131 Supermirafiori 1.3 and 1.6 was equipped with 165 R13 or 175/70 R13 tyres, with some markets also listing 185/60 R14. Longstone’s recommended tyre in each size is the 165R13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36, 175/70 VR 13 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36, or 185/60 VR 14 Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2.

• The 1977-introduced Fiat Abarth 131 Rally cars, and the road-going Fiat 131 Abarth Stradale (the homologation variant) originally fitted 195/50 R15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ P7 tyres mounted on 7 × 15-inch Cromodora wheels.
• Sadly, the P7 is not currently made in this size. The ideal Fiat 131 Abarth Rally classic road tyre currently made is the 195/50 VR 15 Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2.
• There are various options within the PIRELLI P7 CORSA ™ Classic and Michelin TB ranges to suit competition use, depending on the wheels fitted to the car and its intended purpose.
