Pirelli Stelvio Tyres

The legendary Pirelli Stelvio, named after the famed Stelvio Pass, was a racing tyre produced by Pirelli in the 1950s and 1960s. In honour of the most spectacular Ferrari 250 GTO, the Stelvio tread pattern has been given a new lease of life.

  • Pirelli Stelvio tyres were put back into production specifically for the Ferrari 250 GTO.
  • The Pirelli Stelvio is now available in two sizes, one for the front and one for the rear of a Ferrari 250 GTO.
  • Pirelli developed the Stelvio line as a world-class racing tyre in the 1950s and 1960s.

Ferrari 250 GTO Stelvio Tyres

Stelvio tyres are an uncommon pair of tyres in that they come in two sizes: 600 - 15, also known as a 215/70 R15, and 7.00 - 15, popularly known as a 225/70 R15. This is because these two unique tyres were created specifically for the fantastic Ferrari 250 GTO. When the 250 GTO Ferrari left the factory, it was equipped with Dunlop Racing tyres that were no longer road-legal. When Ferrari decided to commemorate the 250 GTO, they sought Pirelli to manufacture special road tyres.
