205/70 R14 tyres were popular with some great classic sports cars of the 1960s and 1970s. In 1968, the Ferrari Dino moved to fitting 205/70VR14 tyres, as did the Fiat Dino. However, these fast classic sports cars did not fit 205/70 HR14 they needed the higher V speed rating (up to 149 mph).
