The tyre size 125SR15 is generally really only associated with the Citroen 2CV and Citroen Dyane. It is a tall thin tyre, and the carcass structure of the 125SR15 Michelin X in particular is what these light little cars were designed around. It is critical to use the size 125Sr15 and it is critical to use the Michelin X.
125 SR 15 White Wall tyres
Although white wall tyres were not standard fit on the Citroen 2Cv many owners want a white wall. Fitting a black wall 125SR15 with a portawall white wall flap, does give the look, but it is not as good as a proper 125SR15 tyre with a white wall built into it. It is good news for those 2CV owners that want them that they can now get a proper Michelin X 125SR15 White Wall.
125 SR 15 Inner Tubes
This 125 SR 15 Michelin X Whitewall is a tubeless tyre so you can run it without an inner tube. You can also run an inner tube if preferred and we would recommend the Michelin 15CB Offset Valve Inner Tube. Maintaining White Wall or White Letter Tyres
Whitewall or raised white letters tyres will need continual maintenance; they are not a fit and forget item. You will need to keep the tyres clean, usually just with hot soapy water.
NEVER USE tyre shine products on Whitewall or RWL letters, many of these products have enhancers for black tyres that will discolour the white rubber permanently.
