125 SR 12 White Wall tyres
Great news for Fiat 500 owners. Michelin now make a proper period 125SR12 White Wall Michelin X radial tyre. Generally speaking although the 125SR12 Michelin X, both black wall and white wall are tubless tyres, they should be fitted with an inner tube when being fitted on a standard Fiat 500 wheel we suggest the 12C Michelin inner tube

There is also the original 125SR12 Michelin X black wall tyre available as well. Both these 125 SR12 Michelin X tyres are exceptional value for money specially as a genuine period white wall alternative for the Fiat 500.
125 SR 12 Inner Tubes
This tyre is indeed a tubeless tyre but if you would like you can fit a tube, we would recommend fitting a Michelin 12C Offset Valve Inner Tube. If you do not have suitable tubeless wheels then of course you will need to fit an inner tube. For more information please visit our inner tube page.
Maintaining White Wall or White Letter Tyres
Whitewall or raised white letters tyres will need continual maintenance; they are not a fit and forget item. You will need to keep the tyres clean, usually just with hot soapy water.
NEVER USE tyre shine products on Whitewall or RWL letters, many of these products have enhancers for black tyres that will discolour the white rubber permanently.
