Saab 900 1978–1998

From 1979 to 1983, the Saab 900 base model was fitted with 165 R15 or 175/70 R15 tyres.
Our recommended Saab 900 tyre in the 165 R15 size is the 165 VR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36 N, and our recommended 175/70 R15 Saab 900 tyre is the 175/70 R 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36.
The PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CN36 was the original equipment tyre on certain 900 models, including the sporty 900 EMS. Today, the CN36 is the best Saab 900 tyre in both 165 R15 and 175/70 R15 sizes.
From 1993, some Saab 900 base model cars were fitted with 185/65 R15 tyres.

From 1979 to 1983, the Saab 900 EMS was fitted with 175/70 R15 tyres. (175/70 R 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36)

From 1980 to 1984, the Saab 900 GL, GLS, and GLE were fitted with 165 R15 tyres. (165 VR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36 N)
In 1982, some Saab 900 GL, GLS, and GLE models were fitted with 175/70 R15 tyres or millimetric wheels with 180/65 R390 tyres. (175/70 R 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36)
From 1984, Saab 900 GL, GLS, and GLE models were fitted with 185/65 R15 tyres.
From 1984 to 1988, some Saab 900 GL, GLS, and GLE models were fitted with 165 R15 tyres, while others were fitted with 185/65 R15 tyres. (165 VR 15 PIRELLI CINTURATO CN36 N)

From 1984 to 1988, the Saab 900 GLE Automatic and GLI (from 1982) were fitted with 185/65 R15 tyres.

From 1984 to 1987, the Saab 900i was fitted with 185/65 R15 tyres.
From 1991 to 1992, the Saab 900i was fitted with 185/65 R15 or 195/60 R15 tyres.
In this size, we recommend the 195/60 VR 15 Michelin Primacy 3.
From 1993 to 1997, the Saab 900i was fitted with 185/65 R15 or 195/60 R15 tyres (195/60 VR 15 Michelin Primacy 3).
