235/75R15 Tyres

235/75R15 tyres are predominantly used as a radial alternative to an 820 - 15 crossply tyre. These 235/75R15 tyres from Nexen make an ideal radial tyre for some of the larger classic cars of the 1950s and early 1960s. Cars like the Rolls Royce Silver Cloud, Classic Cadillac models, and the Bentley Series 1 2 & 3 can benefit from the improved directional stability of the 235/75R15 radial tyre instead of the tall sidewall of the crossply 820-15.

235/75R15 White Wall Tyres

The Nexen 235/75R15 white wall tyres come with an 18mm white wall on one side. In imperial measurement that is approximately a ¾” white wall band. These big American cars of this period often want a white band, however we would suggest that fitting white wall tyres on a British classic Rolls Royce or Bentley doesn’t really preserve the dignity of the vehicle, so it is perfectly fine to fit the 235/75R15 Nexen with its white wall facing inward.
