Porsche offered 16” wheels as an option from 1985 onwards on the 911 models.
Often this 225/50YR16 Cinturato P7 was the tyre of choice on the rear of 930 Turbo, 911 Carrera 2, 911 Carrera 4, 968 and 944 models, together with the 205/55 YR 16 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ P7 N as a front tyre, which we are fortunate that Pirelli have stated to manufacture these two tyre sizes again. Pirelli’s 225/50YR16 P7 was also fitted on the front of the 944 and 928 and the 245/45 YR 16 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ P7 N was fitted on the rear.

Been looking for the old tread pattern Pirelli P7 for years and did not know they had started to make them again for various 70's and 80's performance cars. Great to find them again to maintain the original look.
