• BNC Type 53's would have originally fitted 4.75 x 19 Dunlop B5 tyres which are no longer produced.
• Our recommended tyre for the BNC Type 53 is the 4.75/5.00 x 19 Michelin D.R.
• These tyres are best fit with either Michelin 18/19CD RET Offset Valve innertube, or a Long Central Valve 475-550X19/20 innertube, depending on your wheel type.
• For a racing alternative, the 5.00 x 19 5-Stud Dunlop Racing tyre would be a good choice.
• This racing tyre would be best suited to a Race Inner Tube ( Metal Valve Stem) 450-500X19, being the only innertube in the size that is optimised for racing.
