Jaguar asked Pirelli to help them produce the perfect 215/70 WR 15 tyre for its top of the range V12 luxury cars. the XJ V12 saloon and the XJS HE. The Pirelli Cinturato P5 was the outcome. A tyre with a very high WR speed rating, yet at the same time a tyre capable of giving a comfortable ride, stable high speed cruising and plenty of grip. The tall side wall of the 215/70 WR 15 tyre contributing hugely to the comfortable ride.
The Tyre size 215/70 WR 15 did also fit a wide range of other super cars from 1968 onward when low profile tyres first came out. The Maserati Ghibli, Lamborghini Espada and Jensen Interceptor fitted the Pirelli 215/ 70 WR 15 Pirelli Cinturato CN12, which is also a great option in this size, but really if you have a Jag fit the Cinturato P5.
As well as the 215/70 WR 15 P5 Pirelli also make a 205/70 WR 15 P5 for the 6 cylinder Luxurty Jaguars and and they make a 225/65 WR 15 P5 for the Jaguar XJ40.

The Pirelli 215/70 WR 15 Cinturato P5 is a tubeless tyre, However if you are fitting it onto wire wheels or wheels that you are not convinced are suited to run without an innertube for what ever reason the we suggest the 15/17 H Michelin Innertubes.
