235/70 R 15 Avon Turbosteel
The 235/70R15 Avon TurboSpeed is out of stock, perhaps until the second quarter of 2025. The replacement is the 235/70R15 Michelin XVS Whitewall. This Michelin XVS is a white wall tyre.
235/70R15 Tyres
The biggest customer for Avon's 235/70VR15 Turbosteel must be Rolls Royce. This was the staple tyre for Roll Royce from 1973 right through to the 90's. Cars such as the Silver Shadow II, Corniche & and Silver Spirit all fitted a 235/70VR15 TurboSteel, Aston Martin Fitted 235/70VR15 tyres to the AM Lagonda, and the V8 Auto or Volante also sometimes fitted them.
There isn't really a great deal of choice in tyres in the size 235/70VR15 if for whatever reason you are finding your car wanders a little on these tyres the other good option would be the 235/70R15 Michelin XVS Whitewall. The asymmetric tread and carcass help the directional stability at cruising speeds.

Maintaining White Wall or White Letter Tyres
Whitewall or raised white letters tyres will need continual maintenance; they are not a fit and forget item. You will need to keep the tyres clean, usually just with hot soapy water.
NEVER USE tyre shine products on Whitewall or RWL letters, many of these products have enhancers for black tyres that will discolour the white rubber permanently.
