165TR14 Tyres

165TR14 is a popular classic tyre size from the 60's right through to the 80's. 165TR14 can be fitted as a radial alternative to 560X14 or 590X14 Crossply Tyres on cars such as the BMC Farina cars.

165 TR 14

A wide range of cars can fit a 165TR14 Barum; Alfa Romeo Giulia, Alfa Romeo Alfetta, Alfa Spider, Rover 2200, Rover 2000, Lancia Fulvia, Lancia Flavia, MG B and MG Magnette though these cars would have originally fitted 165HR14 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CA67 an H rated tyre is more suitable than the 165TR14. Cars such as BMW 2000, BMW 1800, Peugeot 504 and Porsche 924 also fitted 165X14 tyres, though again they would handle better with the 165HR14 CINTURATO ™ or the 165HR14 Michelin XAS. The Barum is a small range of tyres made by Barum in full profile sizes that will fit some classic cars, among which is the tyre 165TR14 Barum. However a classic car will handle better with a genuine period 165TR14. The MGB GT in the picture here fits the size 165 TR 14 However the Pirelli Cinturato or the Michelin XAS would be the best tyres for the car instead of the 165 TR 14 Barum. This 165TR14 only tends to be bought on price.
