The 145 R 13 Pirelli Cinturato is also an ideal alternative size to the 520-13 crossply tyres. It might be worth mentioning that in modern tyre descriptions, it could also be called a 145/80 R 13, meaning that the sidewall height is 80% of the 145mm width of the tyre. It is also worth noting that this is a genuine period 145 R 13 tyre, and it is designed in the knowledge that it will be used as a replacement for crossply tyres on classic cars with relatively thin rims, so this period classic tyre will be taller than a modern tyre in the size 145 R 13 and will handle better on an old car chassis.

Pirelli Cinturato - A very good recommendation, really nice tyres. The only down-side is that they are two years old, and I am a bit fussy about using tyres older than ten years, so a 20% reduction in useable life is a bit disappointing.
