125 SR 15 Tyres
Michelin were the originator of the 125 SR 15 tyre for the famous Citroen 2CV. A landmark classic car. The 2CV continued to fit the 125 SR 15 to the end of it’s production. There is no reason to fit anything other than a 125 SR 15 Michelin X other than wanting to fit a cheap tyre but the 125 SR 15 Michelin X is as much a part of the car as it's roll back roof. When the 2CV was invented Michelin were the major shareholders in Citroen, you could almost call it a Michelin 2CV or a Citroen 125 SR 15.
Worth noting that the very early ripple bonnet 2CV was fitted with 400mm wheels, and 125 R 400 Michelin X tyres. Also worth noting that the Spanish 2CV was fitted with 135 R 15 Michelin ZX.
125 SR 380 Tyres
A 125 SR 380 tyre is basically a 125 SR 15. When Michelin were first making radial tyres, being French they had little understanding of inches, so the 380 in 125 SR 380 is simply 15" in millimetres. Today Michelin no longer call it the 125 SR 380. They have gone along with the convention of calling it a 125 SR 15"
125 SR 15 Inner Tubes
This 125 SR 15 Michelin X is a tubeless tyre so you can run it without an inner tube. You can also run an inner tube if preferred and we would recommend the Michelin 15CB Offset Valve Inner Tube. If your wheel is not appropriate to run without a tube because it may not have to safety bead then of course you will have to use an inner tube. For more information please visit our inner tube page.

I ordered two Michelin tires for my Citroen 2CV. The cost at 150 pounds was reasonable & included shipping. I live in Brighton, Ontario, Canada so it's a trans-Atlantic shipment. I ordered on Feb 28 and received the tires at my post office on March 8th.. The tires were pristine and properly labelle
