205R15 Tyres
From about 1971 to 1973 many of the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow series 1 cars fitted this 205VR15 Avon Tyre as their radial option. 205VR15 tyres were also an option for the Aston Martin DBS. However at that point Aston Martin tended to use Pirelli Cinturato as their radial tyres.
It is also worth noting that a 205VR15 is the same as a 205/80VR15.
205VR15
The other tyre available in this size was the 205VR15 PIRELLI CINTURATO ™ CN72 which came out in 1964 This was the original tyre for Ferrari 330 GT 2+2, Maserati Ghibli, Lamborghini 350GT etc it was also an option people tended towards for the DBS and series 2 DB6. Though having scoured the archives there is no evidence of Rolls Royce using the 205VR15 PIRELLI they in period used the Avon.
