Fiat 600 Multipla Tyres

The Fiat 600 Multipla was a four-door MPV based on the Fiat 600's engine and Fiat 1100 front suspensions. It seated up to six people in a footprint just 50 cm larger than the original Mini Cooper. This was accomplished by pushing the driver's compartment forward over the front axle, essentially removing the boot but giving the exterior a very minivan-like "one-box," flat-front appearance. The automobile made its debut at the Brussels Motor Show in January 1956 and was withdrawn in the spring of 1967.

The 600 Multipla was offered with three different interior layouts:

• 4/5 seater - There are two rows of seats: a fixed front bench seat for the driver and a passenger, a fold-down back bench seat for two or three people, and cargo space between the rear seats and the firewall. The back seats folded flat onto the floor.
• 6-seater version - Three rows of seats: fixed front bench seat for driver and passenger, plus four single rear seats in two rows. The rear seats could be individually folded flat to the floor, allowing for a reconfigurable cargo area with an even loading surface. With all six seats up storage space was reduced to the rear parcel shelf.
• 6-seater - Three rows of seats, including a fixed front bench seat for the driver and passenger, as well as four single rear seats in two rows. The back seats could be folded flat to the floor independently, creating a configurable cargo space with an even loading surface. Storage capacity was restricted to the rear parcel shelf when all six seats were used.
• Taxi - It had a single driver seat, a passenger seat that folded down to become a baggage shelf, two foldaway jump seats in the centre, and a bench seat in the back against the firewall. The Multipla was frequently utilised as a taxi in various regions of Italy until the 1970s.
