165 HR14 Pirelli Tyres

165 HR14 PIRELLI CINTURATO CA67 - "Cinturato" translates from Italian to "belted," describing the tyre's steel-belted construction. The CA67 compound is renowned for its durability and longevity, making it a preferred choice among classic car enthusiasts seeking authentic, long-lasting classic tyres. The CA67 features a classic tread pattern with longitudinal grooves; these grooves provide excellent wet-weather traction and help reduce hydroplaning.

Pirelli has recently reintroduced the Cinturato CA67 with modern, advanced materials, while retaining the classic tyre construction methods that made it so good for sports cars in period. The new CA67 maintains the original tyre's aesthetic and driving dynamics while enhancing its overall performance.

Despite being over 70 years old, the Cinturato CA67 is still a benchmark in classic tyre design, in the 165 HR14 size, it is a clear leader. The CA67 remains widely used and esteemed by car enthusiasts globally.

I appreciated Tom Homan's advice to go with the 165x14's rather than the 185/70-14's that I had used previously. The 165's fit great and look correct on my '66 *** ***.
