History of the Lanchester Fourteen

Built between 1936-1953, the Lanchester Fourteen Roadrider was a replacement for the Lanchester Light Six and intended to be the lowest priced six-cylinder ever offered by Lanchester. The "Roadrider" tag came from the special suspension developed for the car, which was independent front wheel springing achieved by a form of parallel links with coil springs, radius arms and torsion bar damping.
