The best tyres for the BMW 507 are the 185 VR 16 PIRELLI CINTURATO CA67.
The BMW 507 may also have been offered with crossply tyres, the 6.00-16 PIRELLI STELLA BIANCA is the best sporting crossply option.
The BMW 507 can also fit a 6.00 R 16 Michelin Pilote X, as a good radial option.
The BMW did fit the PIRELLI CINTURATO as a radial tyre in period, and we would suggest that is still the best tyre for a 507 today.

History of the BMW 507

Launched alongside the BMW 503 Coupe in 1956 and built until 1959, the BMW 507 was the convertible sibling to the 503. Made with an aluminium body and constructed on a shortened 502 chassis, this roadster was powered by a 150bhp V8 engine giving it a fair amount of speed. However, a high price and relatively poor awareness of its existence at launch contributed to just 252 being made losing a lot of money on each one.
